How to change the color of Folders in windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10

Want to give your folders a new touch of colors?Are you bored of conventional yellow folders that windows display?If yes, then you are on right place.I'll guide you through the easy process of painting your folders with different customizable colors.

Follow the given steps;

Colorizing the folders

Step 1

Download and install Folder colorizer from here.

Step 2

Now that folder colorizer is installed, right click on the folder you want to change the color of
and navigate the arrow to the "colorize!" option that appears in the right-click menu.From there you can select any color you want or you can select a custom color by clicking on the "color.." option in the bottom.

Step 3

There is no step three all have already done!!

Restoring the original color of folders

 To restore original color of the folders right click on the folder you want to restore color of and navigate the cursor to colorize! option. From the option window that appears select restore original color.

*You have to manually decolorize each folder.

Alternatively,

Create a new folder and move the content of the colorized folder to the new folder.Then delete the colorized folder and rename the new folder with the name of previous colorized folder.

Step 1

Open notepad and paste the following code into it;

[autorun]

icon=youriconname.ico

Replace the youriconname with the name of the icon you have(for example if your icon file name is 1 or 1.ico then the dode must be like this

[autorun]

icon=1.ico

Step 2

Click on file then save as and then type the name Autorun.inf. Make sure that the option All Files is selected from the dropdown menu that says "save as type"

Step 3

Put that file into the drive whose you want the icon to be changed.Remember always put the autorun file directly into the drive, never put it in a folder or subdirectory.

Step 4

Now put your icon (.ico file) alongside the autorun file.The icon file and autorun file must be in the same directory or location to work properly.You can get .ico files (icons) from here:

Step 5

Now you may want to hide these autorun and ico file so that you may not delete these files by mistake or your drive doesn't look messy.

Social Media threat leads to the cancellation of classes in Montour School District on Monday

  The superintendent of the Montour School District said a social media threat led to the decision to cancel classes on Monday.

Dr. Chris Stone announced on twitter that a threat against District was posted on social media at around 4: 30 am, Monday.Classes were cancelled in the school though the staff is required to report on time.

Massive 5.5 magnitude(Richter magnitude scale) Earthquake strikes India Myanmar border!!

According to US Geological Survey (USGS) Myanmar(Burma)-India border has been struck by a massive earthquake of 5.5 magnitude on Richter magnitude scale.

 The Earthquake struck at 6:47am GMT at a depth of 14 miles (22.8km) near the Indian village of Imphal, which has a population of around 224,000.

This region is very active with respect to seismic plates activity and the reported earthquake was the result of collisions of the India and Eurasia plates.

There is currently no information about the devastations of this quake.

The deadliest Earthquake in the history of India occurred in 2005 in Kashmir.It also occurred in Pakistan and Afghanistan.The quake killed nearly 87,000 people in the three countries.
